Following the major blow on Sunday an ashore yacht was recovered on the morning high tide of 3.2m on Tuesday, utilizing the Chevvy and several volunteers.
The picture shows the before and after of the operation and of note is the small shore team – onshore in red who pulled a halyard meaning the keel was raised enabling the yacht to be towed out. Backwards was appropriate as the yacht was in a small stream bed with no major turning room. The owners happy face is all that is needed to conclude the story. Thanks to all the volunteers.
