EDYC Season underway May 2019

The club is now in full swing with the normal race activity and recreational use of our facilities. That’s the Wednesday night race series, the Friday evening Dinghy Duck (Training) and the Saturday races, plus your own selected times. The Google calendar on this site may assist with planning your activity. Food is available on Wednesday evenings only, however our full club bar staffed by cooperative volunteers is available on both Wed and Sat.

The RIB shed building continues to dominate the head of the slip and the cladding is being added to the steel frame. Several cruisers remain on the hard and we wish them speed in preparing to enter the water by the various methods in use this year. Special methods usually involve the tractor – so make arrangements early. Even the tractor slips on the slip – that’s a clear warning!

Some photos of the Push The Boat Out event on Saturday 18th May are included within this post – the day was a bit damp and dull but it produced much activity. Many Thanks to all who assisted and attended.

Thanks especially to the RYA for the overall structure and publicity.
