This is a notification of a correction/change in our EDYC calendar.

Calendar – Ver 4.5 updated 23 April 22

This is the printed calendar available in the club hall.

The Narrows series has a date correction – it has wrongly been shown by us starting with the Bar Buoy Race date.

The Bar Buoy Race is on 11 July and not the one day earlier which we have written.

Consequentially the series in our calendar are one day out. – see

    Strangford SC – 12th July 2022  Tuesday

    Portaferry Town – 13th July 2022  Wednesday

    Portaferry SC – 14th July 2022     Thursday

Our mistake was scheduling a Wednesday night race at the club – we have cancelled this Wed night race. There is no racing at the club during this Narrows Series.

On-water staff and bar staff will be re-assigned to equivalent duties later.

Please accept the Club’s apologies for this mistake. Our Calendar written in April has served us well thus far – please be aware that we may need to issue a further updated calendar if needed.
