Six EDYC Wayfarers took part in Cullaun Sailing Club 2024 Regatta & Wayfarer Nationals on Kilkishan Lake near Limerick on weekend of 23/24 August. It was a blustery two-day event with gusts in the high 20s and with challenging conditions, the RO manged to get in 3 races on the first day and 4 on the second.
For many years now the EDYC Wayfarers have been travelling to this regatta and there is a great connection between the two clubs and we have made many good friends

This year the EDYC Wayfarers made a special presentation to Cullaun SC of a Perpetual trophy in memory of Wayfarer sailor Emmet O’Mahony, who passed away earlier in the year. The trophy will be presented annually to a club member who has contributed to the club in the same spirit of generosity that Emmet lived. Images Copyright Pat Biesty
