EDYC ACTION PLAN FOR EMERGENCIES AFLOAT Oct24

With the phasing out of analogue phone lines, our EDYC clubhouse has lost its analogue phone line. This phone line was referenced within our Emergency Action Plan for incidents on the water.

This has meant that we have had to change the wording in the plan in terms of contacting assistance ashore near our clubhouse.

Please read the revised plan which is available now and is to continue to be available – for example within our white barrel safety container.

This plan must be known to all, especially those who take the lead in our water activities, such as ROs, instructors and powerboat drivers. There is absolutely no harm in it being known and understood by everyone.

Some members refer to it as that green thing, hence we have maintained its colour and character.

We are keen to improve all aspects – so if you have suggestions or comments please let the club have them, but remember this is to be a top level guide and can not have the detail necessary on all aspects such as First Aid, boat management etc.

Emergency Action Plan for incidents on the water must be easily understood and used.

It is available as a pdf within the downloads section.
