The club are delighted that Trevor Thompson has agreed to share his Wayfarer sailing adventures at our member’s lunch.

Trevor has cruised his Wayfarer around most of Donegal and the west coasts of Ireland and Scotland, often accompanied by long-suffering EDYC member Nigel Hart. He will tell us how a successful expedition blends keeping a close eye on safety, with romantic abandon to all the sea can throw at us. In June 2024 Trevor and Nigel set out for the Hebridean island of St.Kilda. The voyage involved crossing 45 nautical miles of wind-whipped ocean in a sixteen foot Wayfarer dingy.
