It’s Back! The Leisure 17 BIG WEEKEND. May 23rd & 24th 2026 at EDYC.

For sailors of all abilities, EDYC hosts a weekend of competitive sailing, or simply sailing in company, a weekend of fun and camaraderie.

A challenge for the ‘Leisure 17 Class – Two Day Event’ cup presented to EDYC for the inaugural weekend in 1978, by Dr. & Mrs RJ Scott.

Day 1 – 4 races on a Windward, Leeward course, followed by day 2 taking the form of a longer race, stretching across the beauty of Strangford Lough.

Additional prizes, including that of ‘Best dressed crew/boat’ .

Open to Leisure 17s from across UK, Ireland; and beyond, come by sea, come by trailer.
