November 2020 starts at EDYC (with a rainbow over Taggart Island looking North outside the club ) and progress into winter is being made. All but three yachts have been trailered to the hard standing and the Chevvy is out of the water.
The last of the club racing marks have been lifted from the Lough and are ashore for service, painting and preparation for next season.
The club prize list is developing from the results tables and will be available with the AGM papers.
The pontoon bridge is to be removed for essential maintenance, as soon as the tides and the weather and personnel permit – so do not plan pontoon use nor major boat movement next the slip and crane where the bridge will be positioned for this essential work above the high water line.
Nominees for club officers are being prepared pre the AGM in early December and will be notified to members for the AGM.
Perhaps you have time to spare – so consider taking your boat home for safe storage, if its size and trailer permit. Please consider painting a name on your trailer, a name on your mooring buoy and keeping your equipment secure.
Expect some gales and rough weather plus frost and take precautions.
