Welcome news!

Currently the NI Executive’s route to recovery has permitted the commencement of some outdoor activities.  After RYANI consultations, a cautious but welcome return to boating and outdoor sports is allowed, however in these initial stages full government guidelines must be adhered to ensuring the next steps at EDYC are in the right direction.

Full RYANI guidelines are on the club website.  A few key points:

No overnight stays permitted until the 30 April

Club house has a one way system in place and members are asked to use the sanitizing stations at entry points

Unfortunately the kitchen and bar area are still off limits

We request that large groups do not gather in the new boat house and social distancing measures should be adhered to at all times

Anyone using the boat house should bring their own equipment and sanitize on entry.  Gloves and masks have been provided

A visitors’ log book will be available in the foyer. All members should make a point of signing in when arriving at the club.  This is to allow us to comply with track and trace guidelines

Finally, according to the RYANI, racing can commence from 23 April and we will be in touch once details have been agreed on how this can take place safely.
