Strangford Lough Yacht Club SLYC ran The Frostie Series this Autumn at Whiterock on Saturdays from 23 September to 21 October.

The 2017 Frostie Series concluded on Saturday past at SLYC. The event consisting of up to ten races over five Saturdays. EDYC was well represented with Digit, Gale Force, Lion, Lizante and Magdaleyne, all traveling North.

Top result was achieved by James Regan and young crew aboard Lizante, a Jeanneau 42 This was all down to the final two races with  Lizante  achieving 3rd in race 9 and 1st in race 10 giving them 1st place overall in NHC1. Well done to them. They even managed to do a successful spot of fishing in between races. I believe a first for the crew member involved (see picture below).
