Guidance update on Return to Boating

RYA Northern Ireland has updated its Return to Boating webpage with all relevant guidance for clubs, centres and participants.

More recent clarifications have also been made in the FAQs, including spectators and hospitality and limited access to battery facilities for racing.

Since the announcement, the Executive Office has confirmed that overnight stays onboard boats is permitted under the definition of self-contained accommodation.

Full RYANI guidelines are on their website use the return to Boating link above.  We strongly recommend reading thy RYANI website (use the link above) and attending to your questions via their FAQ

Remember our Club instructions – our club house has a one way system in place and members are asked to use the sanitizing stations at entry points

Unfortunately the kitchen and bar area are still off limits

We request that large groups do not gather in the new boat house and social distancing measures should be adhered to at all times

Anyone using the boat house should bring their own equipment and sanitize on entry.  Gloves and masks have been provided

A visitors’ log book will be available in the foyer. All members should make a point of signing in when arriving at the club.  This is to allow us to comply with track and trace guidelines

Thanks to all members for their cooperation during these difficult times.
