At the end of the season some club raceing marks were missiong, location unknown. Today Mon 1 Jan 24 a lone kayaker located a mark T on the Eastern shore of Taggart and towed it back to the club. It will be refurbished and used again this incomming 24 season. Mark 5 remains missing and unaccounted for.

This recovery was excellent work and a hard paddle, a big thanks to the Kayaker from the club.

Today – New Years Day – we also had two dinghies – a Wayfarer and a 29er who went out, plus there were two open water swimmers. That’s not mentioning the work team on the clubhouse improvements or the team on the Committee Boat redecking project. A late ashore cruiser and a Leisure 17 were also moved in the boat park. Not a bad bit of club activity on the first day of the year.
