An outboard on-shore course 22Mar25

A short two-hour introductory course on outboard use and maintenance is to be held on 22 March at the club shed.

Applications to attend at a cost of £10 are invited from those with any small outboard including some registered outboards kept at the club.

Applications are now live on our events booking page till 09:00 Sat.

The course will run from 10:00 to 12:00 approx. (Sat 22 March) and will take a maximum of eight – please apply and pay though the Plain Sailing section of our EDYC web site.

Highly experienced outboard users or maintainers should not attend.

The introduction and course will be lead by David Maxwell.

Attendees should bring appropriate tools (if their outboard is to be involved) and be wearing suitable attire.

(Safety glasses, vinyl gloves, fuel – all have to be provided by candidates)

If possible please bring Outboard stands.

By agreeing to attend you also agree that your photo may be used by the club in promotion and recording.

All attendees are reminded that the main person responsible for safe working will be yourself.
